Atlantis
The City of Atlantis was incorporated in 1959. Centrally located in Palm Beach County, it is just 10 minutes south of the Palm Beach International Airport and three miles from some of the best local beaches. The city has its own City Hall, Mayor and Commission and police department.
Atlantis Country Club features a championship golf course designed by Dick Wilson and Robert Simmons. For more than 34 years, lush orange trees and gently swaying pines have sheltered the 18-hole course and served as a scenic backdrop for both casual and fine dining. The country club also features a semi-private golf course accessible to the public.
The permanent population of Atlantis is 2005. There are 1200 residences and an average year-round occupancy of 70%. Dedicated to providing green space to its residents for their continued enjoyment, 43% of the total land area is devoted to recreation and permanent open spaces.
